Description
The Mimosa appeared in Provence in the middle of the 19th century. The British, after discovering it walking through Hyde Park and its wonderful Crystal Palace, asked to plant the tree on the French Riviera where they used to go to spend the winter. The demand was so insistent that mimosa plants were planted in the Tanneron region. The essence of mimosa for perfumery was produced in the 1940s and has been used in prestigious perfumes ever since.
