The Millésime Oud Wa Ward – Oud and Rose – reveals the power of Oud from Thailand and the sensuality of Rose from Turkey. Our perfumers have created alchemy between completely opposed ingredients that yet reveals a sensual and precious harmony.
ROSE DE TURKEY
The rose, of all flowers, is the flower that symbolizes perfumery and is described as being the sugar of perfumery. The Turkish rose has fruity notes reminiscent of the smell of the rice wine, saké.
PATCHOULI FROM INDONESIA
Patchouli is an addictive smell long-associated with love and seduction. The plant grows in Indonesia. Its small green or mahogany leaves wilt quickly after being cut but they are full of essential oil. Patchouli is used in perfumery for its powerful, complex notes redolent of both wood and camphor.
OUD FROM THAILAND
This is a dark, very pungent yet pleasant, complex resin that is quite unlike anything else in nature, which develops in trees (Aquilaria) infected with a fungus. Its scent can be described as having woody, animal, smoky and spicy notes.
In the heart of the Grands Crus Collections, our perfumers draw their inspiration from rare and precious ingredients, rigorously selected to create Millésimes Collection.
The fragrance is artistically interpreted on a precious glass bottle with 18-carat gold silkscreen printing and does so expressing a strong personality and revealing the authenticity of the encapsulated juice.
